Group Technical Account Manager TKAM

Do you have a professional approach to customers’ technical staff and know what it takes to serve a Multinational OEM customer or their 1’st Tier system builders with complex and multicultural matrix interfaces across the value chain? Are you outgoing, and do you have the drive and experience to ensure your counterparts get a unique technical support?

As TKAM you will pair up with the Group Key Account Managers (GAMs) in our team to serve the customers’ technical interfaces, typical R&D, Project management, Quality, Test and Specification functions. The goal is to ensure Grundfos is continuously engaged in the customers’ specification and road mapping activities, and through a close customer collaboration providing the best on most competitive pump solution to their applications. Your technical expertise and customer support makes Grundfos the obvious choice and preferred advisor for our Group key account customers.

Internally you leverage your network to ensure our group key account customers are getting the best possible technical service from Grundfos, including product testing, documentation and product samples & variants (CSU) Joining the Grundfos Group Key Account team - you will work alongside 6 passionate and top professional Group Account Managers. Each GAM serves typically 3-5 of our largest customers. Your GAM colleagues are based in Asia, Germany, France, Denmark and USA. You and the GAM’s collaborate seamlessly with local sales and application colleagues who serve the customer’s local branches on daily basis, and together we become an integrated part of the customer’s, sourcing, development and supply chain ecosystem.

Your main tasks and responsibility with your customer portfolio 

 

Proactively working with customers current and future needs i.e. 

  • Establish customer road mapping – Insights.
  • Coordinate FPV sampling and ramp up of new offerings.
  • Ensure customers access to documentation and information (online and offline)
  • Prepare NPI’s, version changes, upgrades etc.  
  • Regular customer specific training and assessment of our product offerings.
  • Relationship management with customers key technical staff, where ever they are located.
  • Drive technical actions for the GAM’s
  • In case of service needs, facilitate support from Grundfos Service team (Service Key Account manager)
  • Overall market needs - new products, applications, needs i.e. New product introductions & Engineering.
  • New business opportunities – materialize new business opportunities i.e. new applications.
  • Collaboration with business developers in the marked segments
  • Market intelligence – Market knowledge, customers, competitors, application & market trends
  • Product and application development towards specific or future customer needs. I.e. I.O.T.

 

Reactive (We all work to minimize this part)

However, in case of product quality, application issues, warranty, service, quality issues or any other quest for technical expertise, you ensure Grundfos provide world class customer support.
 
 

Ideal candidate profile
Preferably, you have a strong technical/engineering background with basic commercial skills and interest making you a technical expert within relevant sectors, but also enable you to see commercial opportunities and implications in the market place.
As a person, you are persuasive and an excellent communicator. Being a great networker and influencer, you manoeuvre well in a large global matrix organization and can drive progress and achieve high quality results. You are comfortable working with senior counterparts as well as shop floor staff, internally as well as externally. You are hands on when needed, always eager to serve our customers and taking personal accountability. Your drive and passion is contagious, your name is known, deep inside our customers technical organization.
Working language is English, additional languages skills will be an asset for our customers, yourself and the Group Key Account team.


Travel:  70-100 days a year.
