Job Description
The perfect candidate thrives when tasks require innovation and growth hacks to challenge status quo and have the ability to operate on a strategic and operational level. WasteHero have started the growth journey, and we are introduced to new regions and markets every month, therefore are we looking for a talented CCO to join us plan and execute our growth strategies. You will be working closely with our sales team and CEO, and will have plenty of freedom and responsibility to test and try out existing and new initiatives: * Map existing business channels by setting up key metrics to track the best-practice to improve internal processes * Exploit and test existing and new sales channels e.g., partnership sales, direct sales, waste haulers, paid marketing, expos, webinars in different regions of the world * Oversee daily commercial processes from marketing and sale * Rethink and improve existing business strategies, plans and procedures * Contribute to sales in winning projects * Set comprehensive milestones for performance and growth * Join a steering group to help fine-tune the go-to-market narrative About youA curious mindset, eagerness to learn and be challenged, and enthusiasm about joining a scaleup where freedom and responsibility are valued over formal procedures is a must. We also expect you to have: * A strong commercial sense, preferably you have international scaling experience * 7+ years of experience from a medium/large company working with business processes within B2B or B2G environment * You can comprehend high-level strategic thinking, and operate with low-level assignments to execute ideas * You value scaleup culture, where things move fast and not everything is defined, but up for grab! * Have a sales mindset, and don shy away from cross-collaboration with the sales team * You have a fail fast/test approach and are willing to make mistakes as part of as part of your learning process * Fluent in English skills and can communicate technical information, both spoken and written * Experience in the waste management industry is a plus but not a requirement About WasteHeroWasteHero is on a mission to redefine the category for modern day waste management software with the use of data. 90% of the world’s waste is collected at the wrong time.
