Head of Operational Development

Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Head of Operational Development ? Nordics (HOD-N), with direct report into our Operations Director Nordics. The role can be based in Stockholm, Malmö or in Copenhagen.

Verisure continues to grow and through our proposition to provide families and business with peace of mind. The Nordics markets play an important role in this success and we are now organising Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland in a cluster to ensure we reach our ambitious goals.

This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role on an exciting transformational journey with the Nordic Operations team. Key assignments will be identifying best practices and synergies in order to improve our business model, customer experience and performance. The scope of the initiatives you will support, provide leadership, direction, guidance and expertise on will embrace a wide differed range of projects from organizational nature to IT related ones.

The impact of the role is substantial having strong exposure to local Management Teams as well as on Cluster and Group levels, working tight with Managers across the Nordic markets fostering shareholder value.

Across Operations we have ambitious plans when it comes to: (1) security and our service levels, (2) efficiency and (3) our employees. The HOD-N will play and important role in working and delivering upon these ambitions.

The position will have three main areas of focus:

Business Improvement Initiatives Best identification and learning Performance tracking and follow-up

Business Improvement Initiatives:

The position entails the responsible for identifying, sizing and executing upon business improvement initiatives and be involved continuously monitoring and tracking KPI`s and keeping track of the over-all business development road-map for Operations Nordics.

  • Identify business improvement initiatives
  • Tracking and monitoring of planning and execution of new and committed business improvement initiatives
  • Keep track of the broader Operational Development road-map
  • Support with both analytics and execution capabilities
  • Performance tracking and follow-up:

  • Develop and standardise KPI`s across Operations
  • Ensure continuous tracking, reporting and accountability
  • Best identification and learning:

  • Identify and prioritise opportunities
  • Identify best practice
  • Support and drive roll-out
  • Candidate profile

    Experiences and Qualifications

    We see this role as critical for the achievement of Verisure?s growth and organizational transformation goals.

    As a result we are looking for a high potential / top performer individual with strong analytics, people skills and powerful execution capabilities. Perhaps you?ve been in a consulting role and are interested in moving into the business side to see the long term results of your contribution, or perhaps you?ve been in a business development role in the FMCG or other industry and would love the opportunity to take on an international role.

    Some of the other things we?re looking for are:

  • A relevant university degree on master or bachelor level.
  • 5 years of experience in relevant roles (ideally some of them within consulting)
  • Strong project management capabilities and analytical mind-set.
  • Process competency - identifying, installing, following up commercial (preferably process improvement) projects.
  • Experience from Project Management governance models - process/commercial projects.
  • Stakeholder management experience - familiar with and successful in relation to a large variety of roles and functions.
  • Experience from a high performance and fast paced culture and possess a strong business acumen.
  • Fluent in English both in speech and writing. Swedish / Norwegian is preferable, but not mandatory.

  • Effective time project management skills - proven track record of getting things done and leading projects to measurable impact.
  • Very high EQ and level of judgment - Strong, confident, humble leader that exerts influence through value add leadership
  • Excellent written and oral presentation and communication skills
