Hourly paid PhD fellow in Vaccine Biochemistry

The Department of Chemistry is offering a position as hourly paid PhD fellow in Vaccine Biochemistry. The position is available from 1 April 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter.  
 
The position is time limited for 3 years.  
 
Required qualifications
As an applicant you must have:  
• Obtained a Master´s degree in biochemistry prior to the starting date  
• Have prior knowledge of vaccine production  
• Have prior knowledge on protein oxidation  
• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills  
 
Preferred qualifications
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in vaccine production / mouse experimentation and biochemical and bioinorganic chemical analyses.

Formal requirements  
The successful applicant should preferably be enrolled as a PhD student OR will be requested to formally apply for enrolment as a PhD student at the Faculty of Science according to the rules stipulated in the Ministerial order on the PhD programme at the universities (PhD order) from the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Higher Education and the guidelines for the PhD programme at the Faculty of Science.  
 
The PhD student is expected to be affiliated to the graduate programme at UCPH-Science  
 
Terms of employment  
The position as an hourly paid PhD fellow is available for months with an average number of working hours of 12,33 per week.  
 
The employment is made in accordance with the Circular on the Collective Agreement concerning Academics in the state sector concluded between the Ministry of Finance and AC (the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations), appendix 5 C.  
 
The hourly salary is DKK 210,72 (1 December 2017).
