HR and Admin Specialist

Queue-it is looking for a community-oriented HR and Admin Specialist to join our Copenhagen HR team. We are on a quest for online fairness, globally, and we want our fairness mission to also impact our HR approach, so that all team members, candidates and partners are treated fairly and equally. We want Queue-it to be a truly amazing work place, and this role is central in achieving this goal.

Our Copenhagen office is home to 79 team members from 26 different nationalities, and it is located in the CAMP co-working space in Ballerup, which offers an inspiring entrepreneurial community with parties, Friday bars, events, networking, etc.

As our new HR and Admin Specialist you will play an important role in Queue-it by providing a high level of support to management, and by contributing to building the Queue-it community. This involves making our team like their work, and recruiting the right talent with the right attitude.

The ideal candidate meets us with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail, excellent communication skills (English), and the ability to forge good relationships with all levels of the organization.

Your Role:

  • Recruiting (screening applications and joining candidate interviews)
  • Work with the employer branding team to organize and implement engaging community initiatives
  • Organize intro day sessions & materials for our new team members
  • Collaborate with our CAMP community manager to set up events and community initiatives
  • Order office/food supplies and keep department supply area well stocked
  • Organize travel for employees
  • Develop and maintain contact databases, lists, and filing systems
  • Manage meeting room bookings internally and in the Camp
  • Answer Queue-it main phone number, screening calls and transferring when appropriate
  • Greet scheduled visitors and direct them to appropriate area or person
  • Handle vendors together with finance team
  • Other ad-hoc tasks

What you bring to the team:

  • Experience with most of the areas involved in the role
  • Independent self-starter attitude
  • Ability to think critically and solve problems
  • Solid organization skills & the ability to attend to details while maintaining a big-picture orientation
  • Positive, helpful, can-do attitude
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Initiatives that enable the office and team run more effectively
  • User-level knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluent in English (Danish is an advantage but not required)
  • Relevant higher-level education, minimum Bachelor
