HR Chief Specialist, Group Talent Acquisition

This role is located in the HR Center of Expertise for Organisational Development (CoE-OD). In our Center of Expertise, we respond to prioritised business needs through development and implementation of global concepts, processes and tools with high professional standards within the following key areas: attracting, developing and retaining productive and engaged employees, supporting successful organisational change and performance.


You will join a team of professionals who work passionately on ways to leverage the business opportunities in front of Grundfos through people and organisational development. You will report to Global Head of Organisational Development, Hanne Fonnesbæk.

What is the job about?

As Chief Specialist,Group Talent Acquisition, you will create and deliver Grundfos’ global vision and strategy for Talent Acquisition, including Recruitment, Onboarding and Employer Branding.


You will steer the next phase of global standardisation and delivery excellence within the area of Recruiting. While continuing to ensure and build on the strong foundation of quality you will develop methods and tools in other areas such as forecasting and strategic workforce planning to support both current and future business requirements. Other key areas of delivery will be to leverage the use of data analytics and insights in the process, ensure usage of assessment tools in decision making, and competence development of stakeholders managing and executing the process.


Within Onboarding you have the opportunity to both apply short-term measures by introducing and implementing best practices globally, while also planning and facilitating the execution of a long-term roadmap to enable that Group Talent Acquisition becomes a key performance differentiator for Grundfos over a period of time.


Moreover, you will be responsible for Employer Branding – and here you have an excellent opportunity to leave your mark. You will develop and drive the deployment of the employer branding strategy for Grundfos as well as introduce tools and techniques that help influence and attract a qualified global talent pool aligned with our strategic business requirements.


In this role, you will work closely with a broad range of stakeholders, and especially the Attraction Services organisation will be a close collaboration partner. One of the main ingredients for success is having a collaborative outlook and demonstrating this in everyday work.


Who is an ideal candidate?

You have a strong background in HR/Talent Acquisition from a global organisation combined with associated academic qualifications. You possess solid experience working with all three parts of the role outlined above and you are passionate about global Talent Acquisition.


Moreover, you possess the following skills and competencies:


  • Significant professional experience within global Talent Acquisition – including Recruitment, Onboarding and Employer Branding
  • Understanding emerging trends in this field
  • Strong commercial understanding and business acumen
  • Balance work that delivers on short-term needs and long-term requirements
  • Adapting and responding well to change
  • Possess the ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Self-driven, consistent performer
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Project management experience
  • Interpersonal savviness
  • Fluent in both oral and written English is a prerequisite


There is flexibility on where the position will be based. A prerequisite is though that is has to be close to one of the bigger Grundfos Hubs around the world. Travelling in this position is expected to be 4-6 weeks per year.
