H&S Specialist to ensure global machine/electrical safety

Welcome to Grundfos H&S
You will be part of the Grundfos H&S Center of excellence in Group EHS in Bjerringbro. Here, you have no direct reports, but you will inspire and drive a dedicated expert team. The H&S Center of excellence support the corporation globally and provide tools and best H&S practices. Our initiatives benefit and ensure maximum safety for employees at all levels of the organization.

 

What is the job about?
You will drive global development and standardisation of best practices that ensure the safety of Grundfos employees globally. This includes continuously developing our business processes to support development of safe tools, technologies and practices. Your key responsibilities will be to:

 

  • Support H&S risk assessments of new developments, digitalisation projects and technology transfers
  • Drive an expert team anchored in H&S CoE to ensure that competencies within your area of expertise are available to the broader EHS community
  • Tailor and develop standards, tools, procedures and trainings to ensure valid minimum requirements and benchmarks across the organization
  • Cooperate with and support the global organization and in particular the regional EHS managers, via e.g. workshops, trainings and audits
  • Increase H&S awareness and support the development a safety-minded approach across the Grundfos group

 

You can expect approx. 30 days of travel yearly as you help implement best practices and H&S tools and processes globally.

 

What do you need to apply?
You have a background within machine and/or electrical safety, and you are good at organizing and deploying your initiatives. Moreover, you:

 

  • Hold a relevant degree within marine engineering, technology management, electrical or mechanical engineering. Alternatively, you have an education as electrician or mechanician as well as experience from the EHS area
  • Have at least 3 years of experience within the health and safety area and experience in driving H&S initiatives/projects
  • Have knowledge of the Machinery directive 2006/42/EF
  • Have excellent communication skills in English – oral and written
  • Have experience working within an international organization and practical experience from working with mechanical/electrical installations is an advantage
