Job Summary

 

The main tasks and responsibilities are:

·        To work with the customer and Naviga’s internal Teams in getting Naviga Content Products installed, configured, tested, proven and taken into live production.

·        Understanding Customers requirements and helping them deliver on these requirements when they install Naviga products

·        Training Trainers and Super Users in the use of the Naviga Content software and assisting the trainees in the configuration of their systems

·        Providing application and/or technical support to existing customers.

·        Responding to customer requests for product assistance within contracted response timeframes

·        The individual must be capable of maximizing their utilization by prioritizing their tasks, by working efficiently and in a focused professional way.

·        Build good working relationships with colleagues and customers

·        This is a hands-on role needing good technical and application knowledge

 

Essential Requirements

·        Educated to degree level

·        Familiar with Microsoft technologies (Windows, SQL Server, IIS Server, …)

·        Be professional, customer centric and business minded at all times

·        Responding to customer requests for assistance according to the customers contracted Service Level Agreements (SLA)

·        Escalating software issues found while supporting the product to Development/IT in an accurate and timely manner and working with them to ensure adequate resolution of those issues as appropriate

·        Pointing customers to relevant documentation and helping to create that documentation

·        English language at a high level both verbally and in writing is mandatory

·        Be technically competent.

·        Be able to learn new applications and technologies quickly

·        Be prepared to travel and work on site for periods of up to a month at a time

·        Be able to communicate at all levels and to challenge customer’s requirements and decisions in a professional and business-like manner

 

 

Preferred Requirements

·        Experience in Media Business preferred

·        3-4 years of related work experience

·        Experience working in a newsroom or with Adobe print publishing applications (InDesign, InCopy) a plus

·        Willing and able to work flexible hours

·        Good problem solving, analysis and troubleshooting skills

·        Ability to prioritize well and to deal with multiple tasks at one time

·        Work with minimal supervision and guidance
