Infectious Diseases Product Sales Specialist- Nordics

Job Description

We are offering a Product Sales Specialist to join the Global Infectious Diseases Commercial Team of 15 people who building to drive the sales channel for Agilent Infectious Diseases solutions. An opportunity to work with all the solution units and sales forces throughout the company that manufacture and sell these products. This is truly an exciting One Agilent initiative.

The requirements for this career opportunity are;

  • Manage and drive sales of the Agilent solutions across serology, molecular and clinical diagnostics, but also the newly launched COVID -19 testing for the Nordic countries.

  • As a product champion you will be assisting regional trainings, visiting key accounts, speaking publicly at trade shows, and developing initiatives to grow business. Whilst working closely with regional field marketing and sales team.

  • Help drive pricing strategy, product messaging, and competitive positioning as subject specialist
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in other Agilent solution units, and Genomics and Pathology sales forces, but not limited to, depending on the expansion of the product portfolio within the clinical diagnostic practice.
  • Develop positive relationships within the large independent developed network and reference labs where the greatest amount of this testing is performed.
  • Develop subject matter expertise through a detailed review of available scientific data and attendance at key conferences.
  • Provide remote sales support for both internal and external customers through WebEx/Teams.
  • Drive Key Opinion Leader development relative to COVID -19 testing solutions

    Qualifications


    Requirements

  • a Bachelor's or master's degree in Life Science field or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrated sales experience within the diagnostics industry is essential.
  • Proven track record to lead cross-functional teams. Able to work across the organization to build alignment and deliver results.
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate at strategic, operational, and scientific levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results and meet business objectives.
  • Have the capability to use new virtual communication tools (WebEx, Teams, Zoom etc.) and be comfortable engaging with customers and colleagues in the digital world.
  • Must have flexibility in working hours and available for up to 50% business travel. (Must follow current Agilent travel policy.)
  • Knowledge or familiar with Agilent Infectious Diseases solutions, rom products, customer-workflow and market trends.
  • Fluency in Danish/Swedish and in English
  • Apart from these more technical skills, you should also have:

  • High energy and self-motivated, with strong desire to make an impact
  • Must exhibit critical thinking, teamwork, creativity, planning and execution skills backed by strong analytical and decision making.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to set priorities based on alignment with business goals and strategic direction, define timelines and deliver to commitments.
  • People management experience would also be an asset.
