Infrastructure DevOps Specialist

Then join our MobilePay DevOps team as we are ready to offer an attractive position to a first class Infrastructure Engineer in Brabrand, Denmark (Aarhus area).

We are currently rebuilding MobilePay to stay on the forefront of the emerging digital challenges and to retain our market leading position within digital payments and transfers.

For this journey, we need an Infrastructure Engineer that is passionate about his/her field and dedicated to providing the best possible infrastructure and platform based on an internal private cloud.

You'll be part of a twin site platform team with highly professional and technically skilled colleagues in Lithuania (Vilnius) and Denmark (Brabrand) and we work closely with the business situated in the center of Copenhagen. A minor level of traveling will be part of the job.

The job
You will partner with software engineers from feature teams and a central infrastructure team, ensuring we design, build and deliver highly available and scalable software solutions in a multi datacentre setup in availability zones with quorum site.

You will also be responsible for improving the performance of our platform, solve scaling issues, build tools and monitoring of platform performance and will be writing scripts to orchestrate infrastructure in the cloud using PowerShell and Python.

A continuous focus on the technology landscape
You should be triggered by a job that consists of many aspects like scripting provisioning of vm’s, configuration of middleware, cloud management, bug hunting on both windows and linux based systems etc.

We expect you to have a strong interest in technology and have a personal ambition to know the technology landscape to continuously develop our MobilePay platform.

Personal skills
You work efficiently as a self-managing team player and your work products are thought through. Paying attention to details comes naturally and you do this without compromising progress.

Knowledge, experience and skills required
We expect you to have a masters degree (or equivalent) within computer sciences
• You could be fresh out of education or have a few years of experience in similar role, where you as an infrastructure engineer have worked with network configuration, server and middleware management etc.
• We expect you to be experienced in Windows and/or Linux
• You should have strong infrastructure and technology troubleshooting skills.
• If you have experience with GO.CD, PowerShell, TFS or other deployment/release tools it is considered a plus
• Experience with our technology stack (RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, Kibana, Grafana, Graphite, Cassandra, MSSQL, ISS, Nginx, HA proxy, Infux DB, AppDynamics, Icinga, Openshift, Kubernetes and Atlassian is a plus
• You need to be fluent in English (orally as well as in writing). Danish is not a requirement.
