Method Design Engineer

Denmark has set an ambitious and radical goal - to upgrading the totality of its mainline network. (COMPANY NAME) is there to set their ambition to life and has started the implementation of the state-of-the-art ERTMS level 2 baseline 3 signalling technology, to the trackside and onboard the fleets. This technology will drastically improve the passenger experience by reducing the number of delays and increasing transport capacity.

We are now looking for a Method Design Engineer to support our projects in Denmark.

The location is Copenhagen, but the position might require some traveling to other sites in the Nordics.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Detail survey

* To collect the data the as design baseline (dismounting parts, LOTO, removing parts...).

* To define the routing of harnesses.

* Ta collect the length of the harnesses.

Creation of the installation procedure

* To define the work instructions needed for the IP.

* To distribute the workload to the team members.

* To follow up the progress.

* To release the IP.

* To create the installation control report template.

* Follow up of the FoC, on site installation and collect the data installed baseline.

* Define good methodology and best practise for installation activities.

* Optimization of task sequencing.

* To improve the on-going way of working (improve productivity).

Manufacturing

* To create the eBOM (Engineering Bill of Material).

Fire and Smoke - REACH report

* To provide the data to BGL.

* Follow up of the activities.

* To release the report.

The candidate we are looking for have a bachelor or master's degree within electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar, preferably with an orientation within system of production, method or industrial process. You also have relevant work experience and knowledge of VBA, PLM - ENOVIA and/or INVENTOR/CATIA would be considered an asset.

In addition, you are fluent in English. It would also be considered a plus if the candidate speaks French or a Scandinavian language, has railway experience and/or are familiar with our products.

As a person do you have a high motivation to learn, a multicultural mindset and great written and spoken communication skills. You have integrity and are a rigorous and reliable team player.
