Øjenafdelingerne i Region Sjælland er organisatorisk sammenlagt 1. januar 2016. Introduktionslægen har hovedtjenestested på Øjenafdelingen i Næstved med mulighed for afholdelse af vagt efter almindeligt dagarbejde fra Øjenafdelingen i Roskilde.

Øjenafdelingerne i Roskilde og Næstved fortsætter afdelingernes funktioner på de to nuværende geografier i Roskilde og Næstved indtil fysisk sammenlægning og indflytning på Sjællands Universitetshospital i Køge. I den mellemliggende periode intensiveres og harmoniseres samarbejdet imellem personalerne i Roskilde og Næstved, herunder lægefagligt samarbejde, ensretning og harmonisering af retningslinjer, arbejdsgange, procedurer med videre.

Øjenafdelingen i Næstved.

På Øjenafdelingen i Næstved modtages ca. 27.000 ambulante patienter om året, og der gennemføres ca. 4.500 kirurgiske indgreb i operationsenheden, herunder cataractkirurgi, vitreoretinal kirurgi, tårevejs- og øjenlågskirurgi og anti-VEGF injektioner. Langt hovedparten af indgrebene foregår i ambulant regi, men afdelingen har to lånesenge til elektive operationer i generel anæstesi og til akutte indlæggelser.

Øjenafdelingen har to introduktionsstillinger i Næstved samt 2 læger i hoveduddannelse. De første ca. 3 måneder er stillingen vagtfri, og introduktionslægen går med i vagt efter arbejdstids ophør ca. en gang om ugen. Arbejdstiden er 8-15 mandag til torsdag og fredag 8-14.30. Afdelingen deler døgnforvagt med Øjenafdelingen i Roskilde, mens bagvagten uændret varetages af overlæger i Næstved, hvor akut kirurgi også udføres. Der er ialt ca. 14 forvagter fordelt i Næstved og Roskilde.

Sjællands Universitetshospital vil være pioner i det danske sundhedsvæsen og definere en ny bedre og anderledes måde at drive et sundhedsvæsen på. Med overskriften ”Patienten er alt” implementerer hospitalerne en ambitiøs strategi, som vil sætte en ny retning for fremtiden. Missionen er patienten, og visionen er suveræn kvalitet. I 2017 implementeres Sundhedsplatformen, som er et nyt elektronisk patientadministrativt system, der indføres sammen med Region Hovedstaden.

For Sjællands Universitetshospital er opgaven i de kommende år i høj grad at opbygge ekspertise og specialefunktioner, som skal indgå i Sjællands Universitetshospital i Køge. Øjenafdelingerne i Roskilde og Næstved er i høj grad involverede i opbygningen og indretningen i forbindelse med den massive udbygning, som finder sted på Sjællands Universitetshospital. I Køge vil antallet af sengepladser blive øget fra 300 til 850 senge, og der vil blive skabt omfattende kapacitet til ambulante aktiviteter, ligesom der indtænkes den mest moderne teknologi samt store arealer til bl.a. forskning. Sjællands Universitetshospital indgår i Københavns Universitets Hospital, som er et samarbejde mellem Det Sundhedsvidenskabelige Fakultet ved Københavns Universitet og hospitalerne i Region Hovedstaden og i Region Sjælland.

We have just started using robotic surgery in collaboration with the surgical department, focusing on hysterectomy and, eventually, myomectomy. The obstetrics unit handles some 2,000 births a year, and we have regional functions in areas such as gestational diabetes, epilepsy, immunisation and prenatal diagnosis. The staff specialist is expected to take part in teaching, research and development, along with rest of the clinic s doctors. Screening mammography in Region Zealand is carried out as a screening programme provided at mobile buses stationed at fixed locations throughout the region. The buses are staffed by highly qualified personnel. Your workplace will be the Radiology Department, Ringsted Hospital, where clinical mammograms are performed and screening mammograms are assessed. Your work will alternate between assessment of screening mammograms, MR mammograms and clinical mammograms. In addition to the Mammography Unit, the department also has a unit with a conventional x-ray, CT and MR. If you wish to maintain your expertise in this field, it will be possible to combine a position with this. In the near future, we expect an increased level of MRI activity within breast radiology, including the possibility to undertake MRI-guided biopsies. Ringsted Hospital

Treatment of surgical breast disorders and breast cancer, alongside mammography screenings, are the primary functions of Ringsted Hospital. Ringsted Hospital undertakes all surgical treatment of breast disorders for the entire region, including breast cancer in particular. In addition, the region's centre for mammography screenings is also located at Ringsted Hospital. In support of these functions, the hospital also has the following specialisations at present:

  • Clinical biochemistry (only blood testing)
  • Anaesthesiology
  • Diagnostic Imaging
  • Clinical Pathology

In 2013 Næstved, Slagelse and Ringsted (NSR) hospitals became an autonomous unit within the Region Zealand public hospital service, with its own hospital management and administration. As of 1 January 2015, the NSR hospitals have 3,500 employees and 622 beds.

Intensiv Afdeling har syv sengepladser og behandler årligt ca. 700 intensivpatienter. Der er fem pladser på Intermediær afsnittet, som også er under anæstesiologisk ledelse, hvor der behandles et tilsvarende antal patienter.
