IT Project Manager/Senior Project Manager-Finished Production

Would you like to work with IT projects from concept to commissioning and implement new Production lines in Novo Nordisk? Would you like to use your IT knowledge and background within project management to be a part of the future manufacturing processes? Then you can become our new IT Senior project Manager!

The position

As an IT project manager, you will be handling projects of different sizes and scopes related both to compliance, development and technical improvements on both existing diabetes finished product lines as eventually new lines. The projects will primarily be within our organization but can vary over times as the portfolio changes. Also, you will be contributing to the ongoing technology optimization and improvement of our processes and equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving projects supporting the project portfolio and secure the strategic alignment.
  • Handling the projects from conceptual designs, purchasing of equipment to installations and commissioning.
  • Driving projects aiming to implement new technology and IT systems to optimize processes
  • Creating project plans with appropriate levels of detail and present these plans to the management.
  • Provide clarity on responsibilities and expectations in your project-team and set the tone when it comes to feedback procedures, meeting structure and the routines of collaboration.
  • Providing timely and relevant updates on project status for all key stakeholders, reporting and adjusting for any deviations from your plans as you advance the projects.
  • Qualifications

    As an IT Project Manager, you have strong stakeholder managements skills and a proactive and optimistic attitude that makes people engaged in the project. You make solid plans, knows how to motivate your team members as difficult challenges arise, and furthermore you show the way by having a can-do attitude. You convey your authority effortlessly, and you earn the trust and respect of the people you work with. You are pragmatic in your approach - while prioritising to stay within scope and budget. We also count on your creativity in getting the most out of the resources and opportunities at hand.

    To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

  • An engineering degree within IT, automation, production systems, pharmaceutic technology or similar
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in working with production and/or infrastructure and you have solid experience with change management
  • Experience in managing IT projects and/or IT automation- or compliance projects
  • It is advantage if you have worked in a regulated and automated production environment
  • Experience with MES systems like Pas-X or LMES
  • Broad knowledge to comprehend and drive projects of high complexity with many stakeholders from different areas of expertise
  • Familiarity with project management models and you know your way around process optimization and have a profound understanding of Process Performance Qualification and Lean
  • Fluent English and communicative Danish skills
  • We have two open positions. 1 IT Senior Project manager and 1 IT Project manager. We will have the interviews together and the primarily difference between candidates for the two positions is experience.

    About the department

    You will be a part of Diabetes care Finished Products (DFP) with approximately 6.000 employees across 7 production sites in 5 countries. We are the last step in the supply chain before our products are being shipped to patients worldwide. In DFP Kalundborg we are approximately 250 employees responsible for packing the diabetes products on our fully automated production lines.
