The Department of Business IT, IT University of Copenhagen, invites applicants for a position as Personal Assistant (PA) and hereby offering candidates an exciting opportunity to join and help the Head of Department in the daily management.

The department conducts excellent research and contributes to ITUs education programs.

Job description as PA

  • Support strategic ad hoc efforts decided by the Head of Department
  • Planning development tasks and projects.
  • Contributes to internal institute processes
  • Planning, organizing and following up on internal and external meetings and visits
  • Maintaining the department's web with a focus on internal communication
  • Planning of internal workshop, seminars, receptions and events.
  • Coordinator of cross-administrative tasks
  • Coordinator on annual tasks, including ensuring compliance with deadlines.
  • Assist in organizing research activities, dissemination, and public engagement activities
Profile
Applicants should have an academic background and preferably experience from research environments eg. via own PhD degree or experience from similar position.

Competences of the successful applicant:

  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Excellent project- and time management skills
  • Excellent English and Danish skills – written and oral
  • Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary and multicultural environment
  • Ability to carry out tasks in a structured and systematic manner
  • Prefer to work independently

The Business IT department is committed to high quality, business-relevant educational programmes that result in employment for our competent and independent graduates, and delivers relevant research-based knowledge to IT managers in the public and private sectors through our professional part-time programme.

The two research groups – TiP and Time - deliver world-class research within innovation and process models, information infrastructure, digital democracy, digital change management, public digitization and cybersecurity, as well as business and management.

Department of Business IT offers an undergraduate program in Global Business Informatics and a Master’s program in Digital Innovation & Management. The institute’s two labs, Business Innovation Lab (BuILD) and ETHOS Lab, offer services to organisations and the industry. The department has approximately 30 academic faculty and 20 PhD scholars.

In addition to the association with Department of Business IT, the applicant will be a part of a professional team in Research & Learning Support, who supporting the other Head of Departments at ITU.
