The Global Systems Integrator and Consulting (GSI) Group within Global Partner Solutions manages key relationships with 20 of our top GSI and Consulting partners who have significant global scale and a collective strength of over three million technology professionals. We are looking for an exceptional regional sales leader to help drive our business relationship and sales acceleration with our portfolio of Consulting firm partners across EMEA such as EY, KPMG, PWC, McKinsey, BCG, Publicis Sapient. The individual will be focused on orchestrating a strong partnership; identifying, planning and executing strategic go-to-market initiatives and facilitating sales engagements across top enterprise customers and key industries. This is a unique role in the global team that adds value both to Microsoft and to our Consulting partners.

This is a senior sales role charged with enabling and leading strategic engagements on current and future partner-related initiatives across all Microsoft Clouds (Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365) and key industries. This position will require a high degree of executive engagement within corporate, EMEA regional and area level leadership across Microsoft and the partners. This regional sales position is unique in that it combines strategic thinking, business development, sales focus, partner alliance management, and Microsoft field coaching. The role will report to the WW Business Advisors Global Lead.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities and required competencies include:

  • Internal Owner: Be the primary interface between the GSI Partner Team and the appropriate regional Microsoft and partner stakeholders. Structure and execute the mutually agreed alliance governance and executive connections between Microsoft and focused partners. Must have the ability to quickly respond to senior stakeholder and/or market input, and effectively communicate on regular basis to Microsoft and partner executive leadership teams on the health, performance and direction of the regional partnership.
  • Drive New Business Opportunities: Lead partnership efforts to create compelling new regionally relevant Microsoft-based partner offerings and go-to-market initiatives across EMEA. Must have the ability to assess market dynamics, recognize and quantify future opportunities, insightfully follow competition and define investment strategies and/or business models to harness market opportunities and drive Microsoft cloud consumption.
  • Field Enablement and Sales Leadership: Overall responsibility for GSI field enablement and sales performance across EMEA. Develop and socialize strategic plans, drive initiatives and support sales motions, and enable sales acceleration, deal closure, and Cloud consumption. Must build deep relationships with the key Microsoft stakeholders, sales units and regional GSI partner stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate will be passionate sales leader and have strong knowledge about enterprise customers,, through-partner sales motions, industry trends and and cloud technologies

    Qualifications

  • Industry experience spread across the following disciplines: sales, product marketing and/or alliance management experience as well as advisory and consulting services experience. Plus experience in business development or roles with strong partner engagement
  • A passion for Microsoft products and solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills including ability to work in a truly multicultural and global environment
  • Experience with long business development cycles
  • Strong business planning and analysis skills
  • Experience managing operational budgets
  • Excellent writing and customer presentation skills
