The Position
As our new Associate Manager for Packaging Material Supply Planning in Inbound Supply Management, Sourcing Operations (SoOp) in Bagsværd, you will head up our team that ensures inbound supply of primary packaging for all Novo Nordisk manufacturing sites around the world, as well as printed packaging materials for our manufacturing sites in Denmark.
The team is newly established and consists of 10 dedicated planning professionals working closely together with our suppliers and our manufacturing sites. The team is responsible for aligning demand and capacity with the suppliers, continuously execute and optimise the purchase process and ensure on-time delivery of materials to Novo Nordisk production sites.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Lead transformation of our purchase planning processes and transition to new planning system.
Ensure efficient daily operations in compliance with GMP and corporate standards, whilst optimising our internal flow in Novo Nordisk.
Lead and participate actively in board meetings, process confirmation and structured use of problem-solving tools to locate and eliminate the root cause of an error.
Foster a climate of high well-being and innovation within own team and across related organisational departments.
You will become a member of a dedicated, trustful and ambitious management team reporting to the Director of Inbound Supply Management. As a member of the Inbound Supply mgmt. team you will contribute to the successful performance and ongoing development of the department, through a close collaboration with your peers.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you have:
Master’s degree in any field.
Proven experience as a people leader, who builds trust, drives engagement and ensures wellbeing in the team.
Experience and understanding of supply chain management.
Fluency in English.

Inbound Supply Management is part of Sourcing Operations, which has the overall operational responsibility for the inbound supply chain of Novo Nordisk and consists of 400 employees.
