SVP Communication Partner

We are looking for an experienced communication partner and advisor to the Senior Vice President and leadership team in Devices and Supply Chain Management, a part of Product Supply in Novo Nordisk.

About the Department
You will be responsible for driving leadership communication and communication around the Business Plan priorities and strategic projects in Devices and Supply Chain Management (D&S), an area with more than 2400 employees spanning Denmark, Japan, Algeria, Iran and Russia

D&S is responsible for device, needle, contract and local manufacturing, as well as sourcing and supply chain management across Product Supply. This covers a wide range of functions such as bringing new devices from Research & Development into production, manufacturing and sourcing of device components and needles, managing a large number of CMOs and supply chain development and planning.

You will join the D&S Strategy and Business Development team, which works across the area to drive an integrated business development agenda leveraging Strategy, Strategic Finance, EHS, LEAN and Communications. The team also fills the role of Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President. We value professionalism and responsibility and have an open and informal culture. D&S Strategy and Business Development is part of D&S Business Support located in Bagsværd, Denmark – an international and high-performing area consisting of around 35 people from approx. 15 different countries.

The position
The Communication Partner will act as a trusted communication advisor to the Senior Vice President (SVP) and the leadership team. This requires setting direction and executing on plans for how to communicate Business Plan priorities, strategic projects and changes in the area. Your key contributions will be preparing, planning and executing cross-organisational communication and events such as internal roadshows and quarterly meetings, as well as preparing presentations, making videos, writing articles, and ensuring optimal use of relevant digital channels.

You will report to the Senior Manager D&S Strategy and Business Development and be part of a core team supporting the SVP and D&S leadership team. As Communication Partner you will also be a member of cross-organisational communication groups in Product Supply, Quality and IT, contributing to the creation of global communication projects and events. 

You are an experienced communication advisor to top management, adept at navigating and executing in a complex stakeholder environment. You are ambitious on behalf of the communication agenda and proactively influence decisions to enable efficient and engaging communication. You have in-depth business understanding, a strategic mindset, and have worked in a multinational organisation – preferably within the pharmaceutical industry. You are experienced in working with many different internal stakeholders and different cultures.

You have a master’s degree in communication, journalism, business management or similar – and have minimum 8 years of relevant work experience. 

You are ambitious, structured and enjoy working independently. You approach tasks with a positive attitude and follow through to high-quality deliverables. The job requires a high level of initiative and innovative thinking, excellent planning and project management skills as well as strong strategic understanding and attention to detail as you will work at senior management level.

We see that you have experience with Office 365, SharePoint, video production and social media. The majority of communication is in English and flawless written English is a prerequisite.
