Senior Business Partner in Diabetes Finished Products Finance

Now you have the opportunity to join us as a Senior Business Partner to contribute with strategic decision-making and shape the future of our global manufacturing network. 


The position
As our new Senior Business Partner, you will be responsible for our direct spend and waste within our production processes, which supports two great strategic initiatives; reduction of unit cost and Novo Nordisk environmental strategy called circular 4 zeroYour role would be to validate and analyse data from our production sites worldwide and make conclusions to support both the sites in reducing waste and but also other support functions such as sourcing and manufacturing development in reducing reduce unit cost.


Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Ensure insights and transparency into Direct Spend by setting the strategic direction on leading KPIs for scrap and yield.
  • Drive cross-functional processes such as budget process and monthly reporting, as well as driving cost optimisations projects.
  • Be a strong business partner for our sites worldwide through your insights and conclusion, but also best practices sharing between sites and central functions.
  • Support business cases with relevant insights of direct spend impacts, expectations of waste

  • You will independently drive several initiatives simultaneously and work closely with stakeholders across the organisation at all levels of the organisation, which requires that you have a good overview and the ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously. 


    In the future, you can expect up to 2-6 weeks of travelling yearly to the other production sites.


    Qualifications

  • You hold as a minimum a bachelor's degree and several years of experience in finance in a production setting, like Production finance, Direct Spend, Production Controlling or similar. 
  • You have strong analytical and communication skills
  • You have experience with one or more presentation and BI tools such as PowerPoint, Tableau, Excel, but neither is a requirement
  • English fluency is a must-have.

  • On a personal level, you are motivated by understanding and analysing big data, and you enjoy sharing your results clearly and precise. We expect you to have the confidence and ability to set directions in developing strategic business cases and constructively challenge on all levels of the organisation. You have a sharp eye on details and a structured approach to your work. 


    With a professional and open approach, you build strong relations with stakeholders at all levels, cross-functionally and internationally. Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex matters with simplicity. Finally, to succeed in this role, you need to communicate clearly and assertively and use your creativity to prepare presentations.


    About the department
    DFP Business Development is a part of Business Support located in the Bagsværd HQ - an international and high-performing department consisting of around 40 people from approx. 10 countries. DFP Business Development is responsible for identifying future opportunities and threats to our business. To ensure DFP always stays two steps ahead and delivers robust performance, we need to create solid and transparent data foundations.
