Based in Copenhagen we now have this great opportunity for a new eMobility Business Development Manager to join our sales organization to drive and accelerate our growth within eMobility charging infrastructure.

The background for your critical and exciting mission

The eMobility market is expanding at a rapid pace:
The year 2020 was a significant year for electric vehicles. According to the Global EV Outlook 2021, global electric car stock reached 10 million units, 41% higher than in 2019. The global EV sales grew by 41% from 2019 and the global electric car sales share rose to a record 4,6% in 2020. In the first-quarter of 2021, global electric car sales rose by around 140% compared to the same period in 2020.
As we scale the electrification of our mobility in order to fight the climate change, Schneider Electric develops and commercializes a whole range of eMobility charging infrastructure solutions.
This is a critical role as you will be working closely with clients to strategically design e-mobility charging infrastructure deployment plans as well as being the regional single-point-of-contact supporting Schneider Electric in the Nordics in local deployment. 

Your Responsibilities

• Identify direct and indirect prospective customers for business opportunities within eMobility charging infrastructure
• Generate business proactively through building solid relationships with prospective clients, gaining detailed understanding of their needs, pain points and strategic direction
• Communicate and interact with business decision makers at all levels to identify needs and requirements as well as market opportunities
• Enable our country organizations to deploy eMobility, contribute to sales plans and go-to-market strategy
• Work with Marketing to ensure promotional activity increasing our brand on eMobility awareness
• Provide regular feedback on Schneider Electric's positioning in the marketplace

Knowledge required

You have experience in managing sales cycles and tenders to provide unique solutions to suit customer requirements. You know how to develop a bid strategy and bring it to life.
Understanding of the evolving ecosystem value chain of the eMobility application is essential. We will of course help you gain strong knowledge and understanding of the Schneider Electric products, services and solutions that are important to the eMobility application

Required Qualifications  

• Bachelor’s in business administration, Engineering and/or Marketing
• Minimum 5 years in a commercial organization
• Strong strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both towards a technical and non-technical audience
• Fluent in Danish and English, written and spoken
