For our PtX program which is organized within the Service business unit, we are looking for a competent Technical Sales Manager, looking to drive our technical sales activities of products and solutions within the PtX area for both the offshore and onshore markets.

You will become part of a new dynamic and engaged team that will focus on the new hydrogen-based energy which is part of the commonly used term PtX. We take the ideas to real life and finally work together to get products and solutions ready for commercialization. In short, we want colleagues who can bring forth ideas and enjoy working in a creative team to realize them.

How to contribute to our vision

As a technical sales manager you guide technical related sales support processes and activities in order to effectively support assigned sales teams and customer organizations with technical information and services needed to integrate PtX products into customers' technical infrastructure or their products.

Your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

  • Directs negotiations of agreements within the PtX area as part of the sales process
  •  Ensures technical compliance of bids within the PtX area.
  •  Undertakes relevant cost calculations for the PtX area
  •  Assesses risks and opportunities for the PtX area.
  •  Ensures that PtX bids are aligned with relevant parts of the organization and documented.
  • What you need to make a difference

    Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. In order to thrive in this job we expect you to have an understanding of the PtX or the offshore environment in relation to large projects.

    Preferably you hold a M.Sc. within Engineering (or similar) linked with a good business acumen and have gained several years of experience within the PtX or Wind Turbine Industry preferably with experience from technical sales, R&D or project management.

    As a person, you are outgoing and proactive, you have excellent practical and people management skills, and you possess the ability to interface with numerous parties. You are experienced in technical contract negotiations and you can keep a holistic overview of your project, without missing the important details.

    To thrive in our large international organization, it helps to be a dedicated team player, independent and a skilled communicator with good networking skills and excellent English skills, both orally and in writing.
