About the job

We organize our development projects in programs that target the business segments we address: Pro-audio – MIC’s and stage, Pro-audio Intercom, Pro-audio Gaming and Healthcare. The duration of the projects is typically ½ to 2 years, and each project has between 1–10 software developers allocated. Your role will first be as embedded developer where you will learn the RTX software domain and the Design Services business. A tutor will be assigned to help get you on-board in the first months. During the first six months you are expected to grow into a role as a Product Domain Architect of pro-audio solutions where you, in collaboration, with customers, sales, product and program management and engineers will be responsible for the technical solutions for MIC’s and Stage applications. Location of the position is in Nørresundby.

 

The working tasks will include:

  • Architecting advanced communication systems for professional audio solutions.
  • Development of embedded software. We strongly believe that an architect also implements.
  • Managing technical requirements and design at the system level.
  • Giving advice and competent feedback to customers.
  • Documentation of solutions.

 

Professional skills:

  • You have an educational background in electronics and/or software at bachelor, master or PhD level.
  • Solid experience with embedded software development is a requirement and experience with wireless systems is an advantage as is experience in an architect role.
  • Capable of specifying and designing an embedded software system at the system level of abstraction.
  • Preferably good understanding of the HW domain and preferably also a system level understanding of RF systems.
  • Strong communication and social skills. Proficient in writing and reading technical specifications in English.

 

Personal qualities:

  • You are good at understanding the customer’s product and can transpose your knowledge and ideas into concrete solutions.
  • You have good collaboration- and communication skills and can present yourself in a professional context convincingly.
  • You have discipline and a good overview to effectively manage your own tasks and coordinate with others in an environment of high freedom and equally high responsibility.
