We are currently looking for an experienced, quality-conscious, and technically strong Quality Technician to join our Quality Team at Niko Nordics in Sønderborg, to further strengthen our operation of quality control and maintain our high level of technical customer support. Your overall task will be to contribute to ensuring that our products meet our high expectations. 

 

Job description

As Quality Technician, you will support the Quality Team by performing root cause analysis on defective products returning from customers. You will define and conduct tests as well as analyzing and providing technical summaries where needed. Moreover, you will handle and secure the registration of complaints and quality cases in our database. 

 

You will, in quality related issues, support Customer Service during field interventions with technical expertise. When time allows, you will support Research & Development in creating test set-up in terms of production or performing confidence tests. Over time, and together with the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and conducting best practice external supplier audits, and also assist in conducting and developing our internal audits. In addition, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

 

  • Conducting preliminary analysis of electronic products regarding complaints
  • Performing incoming and outgoing quality inspection of products
  • Handling of quality cases, quality control, deviations, analysis, and reporting
  • Contributing to troubleshooting and conclusions in our production of electronic products

 

Your working base will be in Sønderborg, and you will be a part of the Quality Team consisting of a Quality Technician and the Quality Manager, who are very experienced and dedicated to their work. Moreover, you will collaborate with colleagues internally in the Niko Group and various people externally. You will refer to the Quality Manager at the Competence Center Detection in Sønderborg. 

 

Background and skills

For this position, your educational background is electrotechnical engineer. Our certified standards are ISO9001, ISO45001 and ISO14001, which serve as basis for our quality management system. Furthermore, we expect that you have +3 years of experience working with quality in a similar position, preferably within the electronic business. In addition, you possess the following competencies: 

 

  • Experience with technical equipment and electronics
  • Experience working with data in a database
  • Strong analytical skills with a high-quality level
  • Good reporting skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset 
  • Good collaborative skills

 

On a personal level, you are systematic, self-driven, meticulous, and persistent in terms of tasks. You are able to have many tasks at your plate, but at the same time, you pay attention to details. You have a commercial mindset, and you strive to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction in the handling of customer support, complaints, and service. You have written and verbal communication skills in English and Danish.
