The position
We offer a role as Product Owner for a team working with development and operations of Novo Nordisk content management system called QualityDocs.
The team’s key purpose is to ensure effective implementation of changes to the system and your role is to represent the team and secure alignment with key stakeholders to ensure the team can work dedicated towards reaching key priorities.
Your main tasks will be to:
• be responsible for the team’s roadmap
• work in close collaboration with the business to understand their needs and ensure optimal prioritisation of changes
• balance the demands of the business here and now, while at the same time ensure our longer-term ambition is fulfilled
Many internal stakeholders will rely on your business understanding and your ability to combine business needs with an IT platform.
Furthermore, you will be involved in operational implementation and roll-out of system releases as well as support and communication to end-users, working closely together with your team and process experts in order to understand the needs of the business, and to transform these to specific tasks. When prioritised you will work, in an agile setting, with colleagues in Global IT who will handle the IT development.
This role offers great potential for trying out leadership skills, covering internal coordination and co-work with the team, but also stakeholder management, and communication and dialogue to a broad audience within Novo Nordisk.
Qualifications
We are looking for a positive and solution-oriented candidate with an interest in business processes and IT system development, keen to explore how IT solutions best can support business needs.
In order to succeed in this role, you:
• hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field
• has at least 1 year of experience within IT
• preferably have experience working in an Agile setting, based on the SAFe approach
• preferably have experience with the Veeva platform
• are fluent in spoken and written English
If you have been in roles responsible for a specific process and have experience from implementing changes that impacts a broad part of the business it will be an advantage, as well as experience working with IT and GxP and the ability of driving simplicity using e.g. lean tools. You have experience in collaboration positively with different stakeholders on various organisational levels and are recognised for excellent quality mindset.
On a personal level you are solid, a self-starter and a great collaborator with a positive and proactive attitude. You keep an overview, despite changing demands or tight deadlines. Your strong communication skills allow you to communicate complex subjects in an easy and understandable way. While open to being challenged by peers and stakeholders, your personal robustness enables you to integrate different views in the decision-making process and stand firm whenever needed.
About the department
As a department we are anchored in Novo Nordisk Quality and are responsible for ensuring a timely and future proof process for how to manage content in Novo Nordisk. We are also responsible for operation and development of Vault Quality, where our content management system, QualityDocs, is anchored.
