SI Account Manager

Job Description

Rockwell Automation is looking for a Nordic Account Manager RCSI (Recognized System Integrators), who has passion for creating unique solutions, which can make a difference for our RCSI partners. You will get the opportunity to work cross industries in a job where you will be able to use your expertise in order to assist some of the most interesting partners and SI’s in the Nordics by developing their business through Rockwell’s market leading solutions.

Short Role description

This is a senior position with primary responsibility in leading, creating and managing our partners to ensure they meet short-term sales objectives as well as developing sustainable and profitable growth. You will drive all activities, ongoing strategic business growth initiatives and leading the continued development and expansion of our RCSI partner setup within the Nordics. In addition, you will be responsible for properly co-ordinate implementation of Global and EMEA Rockwell Automation RCSI strategies and initiatives within Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Finland & the Baltics.

In your daily work, you will be responsible for developing new and continue to build a solid relationship with our existing RCSI partners. In cooperation with a strong team of technicians and product specialists, you participate in the entire process from idea development and negotiation to delivery as well as follow-up with the customer.

Your experience and focus on maintaining awareness of competitive strategies and ongoing competitor analysis, activities, and market trends as well as their impact on local businesses and the channel distribution setup for Rockwell Automation is a key to success in the job. We expect you to be able to work with data analysis and monitor sales results providing swift and timely adjustments and strategic as well as day-to-day tactical and operational direction to the sales force and collaborates where needed. In addition, you will engage and collaborate actively at senior management level with our partners and distribution setup to increase our market penetration and assurance of sales coverage.

Your Skills

  • Technical education is preferred (technician, engineer), with a strong commercial mindset
  • Economic understanding - including understanding of the financial criteria of solution sales and project sales, so you can assist the customer in making a business plan for the solution itself
  • Can understand and engage in dialogue about customers Business Plans for the development of their automation solutions
  • It is an advantage if you have a background from a Software / technology-based company where you have worked with sales, project management or a similar commercial function.
  • You’re Profile

  • Minimum of 4-6 years related experience with recognized technical and commercial expertise in working within the given market
  • Effective business communication skills, both presenting, active listening and written
  • Self-motivated with the ability to develop an effective internal network in a matrixes based organization
  • A good understanding of customer supply chains in particular System Integrators
  • A proven track record of delivering sales results and meeting commitments
  • The ability to network and influence partners and stakeholders to achieve results
  • Core Competencies & Educational Background

  • Excellent networking skills
  • Strategic Business & financial acumen
  • Fluent in one of the Nordic languages and fluent in English (verbal and written) is a pre-requisite
  • Proven experience and results working with Senior Leaders and stakeholders
  • Business education with technical background or Bachelor/Master degree in an engineering/tech related field or equivalent.
