As our new Senior Commercial Advisor you will support the Sales Regions in building up commercial capabilities needed for floating offshore wind projects, support initial engagements and bidding activities. Furthermore you will supervise the sales process in the tender and negotiation phase for specific floating offshore wind project

Responsibilities
Our new Senior Commercial Advisor will mainly be responsible for and initiate following:

  • Support the Sales Regions in building up commercial capabilities needed for floating offshore wind projects, support initial engagements and bidding activities
  • Supervise the sales process in the tender and negotiation phase for specific floating offshore wind project
  • Support and internally align negotiation strategies to ensure a smooth contracting phase,
  • Support the early customer engagement in collaboration with the Sales Regions
  • Develop the commercial frameworks and readiness around floating offshore wind
  • The Senior Commercial Advisor Floating must assure that the negotiated Turbine Supply Agreement is in accordance to legal requirements and our commercial mandate
  • The Senior Commercial Advisor Floating should, together with the Senior Package Management Advisor Floating, and the Regional sales team actively move the sales process in both the tender and negotiation phase on specific opportunities, or otherwise support the Regions in such activities
  • Run the floating offshore community of interest across the organization together with the Senior Package Management Advisor Floating
  • Qualifications
    We are looking for a person with the following qualifications:

  • A high understanding of the commercial aspects of complex products and able to translate this knowledge into a contractual context
  • Experience with being involved on a commercial side in negotiations of large complex projects and is able to articulate the consequences from a commercial and contractual point of view
  • Proven professional experience, proven sales and project management experience – for example within wind energy, power plants, infrastructure or the construction industry
  • Experience with Yellow FIDIC book 
  • Experience with long-term sales processes and will be required to deliver results in a complex organisation selling large-scale projects

  • High degree of endurance and persistency to withstand long-cycle hard-core customer negotiations
  • Curiosity to explore aspects of the floating technology beyond the scope of WTG delivery to identify potential contractual impacts
  • Cultural sensitivity to engage with customers globally

    Additional information
    Your work location will be in Copenhagen, Denmark. Alternative locations will be considered as well. Frequent travel is to be expected.
