Mechanical Engineer, Denmark

Do you have an eye for detail and want to be a part of developing tomorrow’s industrial robots in a market-leading company?

An exciting workplace

For this position, we seek an experienced Mechanical Engineer for our main office in Odense, Denmark. You will be part of our dynamic and ambitious company, where our dedicated colleagues love to make a difference to the working day and create success in the world of robotics.

At our company, engagement, strong working efforts and job satisfaction go hand in hand, and we are the leading international supplier of mobile robots.

Huge scope for influencing your work

We offer an exciting position with excellent opportunities for you to personally shape the position. You will be part of a team of 16 other engineers, who are all working on new development and improving existing products.

Your work tasks will be varied and include:

  • Design of mechanics from concept to full production
  • Concept work with focus on DFM, DFA and serviceability
  • Design of components in Autodesk Inventor
  • Transfer and production start-up at the subcontractors
  • Analysis and implementation of production improvements
  • Strength calculations
  • Test and verification in relation to applicable regulations and standards (including the Machinery Directive)

You would love to work with robots, and you are motivated by developing and testing new features. With an analytical approach to problem solving, you will ensure that R&D delivers a well-thought-out product for ongoing production.

It is therefore important that you have a ‘hands-on’ approach, and that you think innovative solutions in relation to use, production, assembly processes, service and costs.

The successful candidate

You are a qualified mechanical engineer or have an equivalent technical education, and you are experienced in developing mechanical designs. You are able to work in a structured manner, always focusing carefully on comparing the chosen solutions to the requirements that we set out for the product in collaboration with the rest of the organization.

You are an experienced CAD user, and able to get to grips with complex areas. With an excellent ability to collaborate, you are able to work across the organization.

As a person, you are outgoing and thrive in an international environment. You can work independently, take responsibility for your tasks and complete them. You approach tasks with a positive attitude and are responsive, dynamic and able to maintain an overview.

Since our work has a global scope, it is essential that you are fluent in written and spoken English.
