You will join the Bridge and Civil Structures team with currently 8 members working on major crossings both in Denmark, wider Scandinavia and on Global projects if required.

  • You will be given the opportunity to: 

    Manage the design process

    From the modelling and analytical processes, to the production and checking of design calculations challenging your team to optimise solutions.

    Lead on technical matters 

    Your capability and experience in defining smart solutions to challenging technical problems, with a design team, is critical.

    Gain valuable commercial and client-facing exposure

    Through your design team leadership, you will manage commercial aspects of your design activities in alliance with senior management.

    Optimise digital means 

    You will help shape our implementation of the digital agenda and drive the automation of our design services through project applications.

    Adopt a collaborative approach 

    You will collaborate with, and coordinate, a young and diverse engineering team, whilst connecting with our global experts from across the world.

    Develop industry leadership 

    You will increase your exposure in the global industry by working with a company regularly recognized as an industry leader.

    Shape the team

    You will be part of the technical leadership for the Bridge and Civil Structures team and will help develop the Bridge and Civil Structures’ team skills and capabilities. You will be provided opportunity to actively participate in the ongoing development of the team business strategy.

    Contribute towards ongoing business development

    You will be provided opportunity to take ownership of, and develop client relationships and participate in general business development across Scandinavia.

    Your technical and personal competencies:

    You are a team player, who enjoy working in a vibrant international environment on high profile projects. You are keen on taking on responsibility, and you possess the following competences:

  • A Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering, with special interest in bridge structures.
  • A strong advantage if you have a digital profile, desirably with a proven capability in modelling tools (e.g. FEMDesign, SOFiSTiK or Midas Civil) and programming tools (e.g. Python, Dynamo or Grasshopper).
  • More than 10 years relevant working experience.
  • Besides English a high proficiency in written and spoken Danish, Norwegian or Swedish is mandatory for this position.
  • Proven track record in design, management, and delivery of complex bridge and/or civil structures projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail. 
  • Critical thinking and desire to challenge the norm.
  • Solution-oriented and independent way of working. 
  • A passion for technical excellence.
