Job Description

  • Are you mindful of the customer experience whilst providing HR guidance and support?
  • Do you possess a structured way of working, driving activities to completion whilst keeping things simple?
  • Can you tackle a high volume of work, remaining clear and friendly in your partnering style?
  • As Senior HR Business Partner for National Oilwell Varco in Denmark you will partner with Centre of Excellence HR functions located out of country and our global network to provide HR support for key internal clients.

    As part of NOV's Regional Corporate HR team, you will develop effective working relationships, influence and coach management to deliver business value through their people. By providing transactional support and advice you will assist the business in controlling cost, improving efficiency, clarifying accountabilities and deliver great service. 

    The majority of your time will be day to day support to management and employees, whilst keeping the overall picture in mind. We are a small team on the ground, with a great HR support network who assist us to deliver on key activities to drive the business forward.

    More specifically you will;

  • Educate management on how they can be most effectively lead their people
  • E.g. performance management, absence management, career management and expertise to the business on specific projects. 
  • Consult on hiring plans for the business, including forecasting, providing compensation insights and partnering with Talent Acquisition to deliver on those plans.
  • Facilitate activities with management to ensure top talent reach their career goals through coaching, succession planning and retention practices.
  • Solve problems, identify and act on areas for improvement.
  • Deliver senior manager presentations. 
  • Advise on retention activities and strategies to mitigate turnover.
  • Drive own projects for the country and internationally.

  • Preferrably you have experience with strategic HR business partnering from engineering industries.
