JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description Summary

The Training Coordinator will play an active role in securing the success of our global Offshore Projects.
You will work in the cross-field between the Operational business in Offshore Projects, the workforce planner and the learning centers to ensure that the training needs of the sites are transformed into a detailed training delivery plan.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collect the training demand for each Offshore Project Site and coordinate a detailed training plan including:GE Renewable Learning centers; trainers, equipment, facilities etc.Certified training suppliers
  • Build strong collaboration and good working relationships with our key internal partners
  • Collaborate with the sites, the learning centers and development teams to deploy the training plan effectively,Coordinate training activities on site; getting trainers and equipment to site to deliver training locally whenever possibleCoordinate Project employees getting to a training locationManage payments of external trainingCommunicate plans and schedules clearly to participants and line managersDay to day coordinationFirst line support to the sites on Training RequirementsImplement processes to standardize training execution for Offshore Projects
  • Broadening knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in own discipline to execute functional policy/strategy; still developing functional knowledge and skills.
  • Understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
  • May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy/parameters.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Office clerk, project coordinator, or similar with a significant experience preferably in the Wind Industry, operations or Training
  • Proven track record within coordination of operational activities like training
  • Proven skills within administration
  • Highly driven and organized
  • Professional customer service agent with the ability to smile through the phone
  • Familiar with process management and quality assurance
  • Understanding of financial processes
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
  • Ability to plan, communicate and execute programs
  • Ability to energize teams and view change as an opportunity
  • Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse and highly matrixed environments
  • Fluency in English to communicate with customers and peers
  • Proficient user of MS Office
  • Desired Characteristics

  • Experience interacting in a global environment
