Job Description

Would you like to become an important part of ensuring the Group reaches its aspirations? Join us in the challenge of strengthening the performance management framework in a innovative finance department.

We are seeking an experienced Finance Lead to become a part of the Technology & Services (T&S) Finance Leadership team. The T&S Finance team is responsible for the end to end financial process for the T&S organisation which has a cost base of dKK9bn and a workforce of over 8,000 employees, key process include performance management, target setting, quarterly rolling forecasting and driving the monthly management reporting cycle. Within T&S there are 7 units – Large Corporates &Institutions T&S, Personal &Business Customer T&S, Functions & Data T&S, Security, Premises & Procurement, DIWI and SEBC.

Your role will report to the Head of Finance for Technology & Services and will be the primary business partner for the business unit technology management team and act as the CFO for unit. You will be a member of the units management team and will lead a team across Copenhagen and Lithuania that provides financial insights, analysis and combine transparent financial and strategic recommendations to better decision-making.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • You will be immersed into the business building solid relationships with key stakeholders so that you can really get under the skin of the business to understand commercial drivers and how the business ticks
  • You will develop key reports and analysis that provide true commercial insight into the cost base and key business drivers
  • Lead the Technology & Services unit through budgeting and forecasting cycles, owning budget models and ensuring key assumptions and variances are reasonable and explained
  • Effectively support business partners on identifying risks and opportunities, phasing of costs, procurement processes and accounting rules
  • Monthly sparring with the leadership team on financial performance, providing proactive advice and recommendations
  • Responsible for maintaining and improving various business, cost and forecasting models
  • About your background

  • Good business partnering skills and previous experience of supporting non-finance teams
  • Experience and a genuine interest in Technology and/or services organisation
  • Previous experience of budgeting, period management accounts, analysis and commentary
  • Advanced Excel and data modelling skills
  • Experience of Agile methodologies, Technology Business Management or Lean process improvements an advantage
  • Innovative and skilled team-oriented person with aspiration and commitment to deliver high quality
  • Great communication and presentation skills in English
