Peripherals offer more value for our customers by delivering meaningful experiences across all the things they hear, touch, and see when working, learning, or playing in a more hybrid world. They are a great way to drive outcomes and increase brand loyalty with customers. Peripherals also offer more value for HP by going beyond the PC to target markets that are large, growing, and where we are under-represented. In this role, you will support the Category and Business Development of HP’s Peripherals Portfolio to build the strongest peripherals brand in the market. Here, we partner with teams across the globe to maximize our digital interaction and evolve the business model to drive sales, revenue and most importantly, a frictionless customer experience. 

In this role, you will report to the leader of Peripherals Category and Business Development for Northern European (NE), South European (SE) and International sales entity (ISE). As a Consumer Business Development for Peripherals Northern European market you will work to help position a wide range of interesting and next generation products to our customers and partners. Your leadership will help to shape the plans and guidance to sales teams, our route to market strategies and grow the value of HP’s Peripherals positioning. With your online & sales knowhow you will develop customer-centric go-to-market and partner strategies, your online marketing knowledge is welcome to ensure perfect online customer experience.

If you are our Consumer Peripherals Business Development – NE, you will have a chance to:

  • Leverage market research to drive growth agenda.

  • Focus on the digital part of NE market – use your online expertise to maximize success via increasing coverage and on partner-side to grow revenue and market share.

  • Together with your Manager develop long-term all RTM online/offline framework to ensure best possible customer experience by addressing all relevant touchpoints

  • Support the Peripherals organization growth, focusing x-silo on customer happiness

  • Rigorously qualify opportunities for active pursuit based on the probability of success and the intelligent allocation of HP's resources.

  • Be part of local Sales staff and act as the “Peripheral Champion” in your markets.

  • Continuously build & reinforce client's perception of HP as a credible partner and overall customer first company.

  • Educate account team about HP’s peripherals assortment and business strategy to increase their understanding and appreciation of its contribution to overall client account retention and HP profitability.

  • Help Sales to position the value of peripherals for HPs success

  • Manage (mainly digital) lead generation activities of the business program.

  • Fulfill a coaching/mentoring role towards the countries to help build local business development and digital skills.

  • Connect the dots between countries and leverage best practices to new standards

  • Operational excellence in all kind: 100% Transparency, solution oriented, data driven, positive mindset

  • Are you a high-performer? We are looking for an individual with:

  • Typically 5 to 7+ years in the IT business, Sales, Business Development or Category.

  • Advanced University degree - preferable.

  • Solid experience in selling to partners in a complex environment.

  • Ability to work with remote teams.

  • Solid understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and the channel. Dimensions include competitive positioning.

  • Ability to create & drive growth programs based on local or regional market conditions & business climate.

  • Advanced selling skills in negotiation, development proposal, account planning.

  • Develops account plans with partner and sales to grow HP's share of the business.

  • Financial skills to meet financial targets.

  • Market Research and Analysis skills

  • Develop long-term account and marketing strategy and track-record in identifying and establishing strategic partnerships to plan for future business opportunities.

  • Languages: English and at least one of the NE Market local languages (Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish or Finnish)
