Material Planner

Do you want to join a world leader in the railway sector? Alstom Denmark is looking for an ambitious Material Planner.

Denmark has set an ambitious and radical goal to upgrade the totality of its mainline network. Alstom is there to set this ambition to life and has started the deployment of state-of-the-art ERTMS level 2 baseline 3 signaling technology both on the trackside infrastructure and train fleets. This technology will drastically improve the passenger experience by reducing the number of delays and increasing transport capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze material needs to secure the right level of materials.
  • Create and maintain scheduling agreements and purchase orders.
  • Following up with suppliers for open orders and order acknowledgements.
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance to secure high OTIF level.
  • Assist with C-Class management.
  • Communicate deviations to relevant stakeholders in the Supply Chain and Procurement team.
  • Work closely together with our Procurement team.
  • Secure KPI’s are kept above the agreed target level.
  • Requirements

  • Have a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management and/or have experience from a similar position.
  • Preferably you have experience with Excel macros and SAP.
  • Fluent in English
  • You have good analytical skills.
  • Have a positive mindset.
  • Be a team player.
