HR Business Partner (m/f/d)

Job Description

In this key role as HR Business Partner – Corporate Functions you will take responsibility for creating and implementing the strategic people agenda and organizational development in the assigned global Corporate Function. It involves planning and execution, organizational effectiveness and design, leadership and employee development, change management and talent management – all run for globally scattered organization.

As the HR Business Partner, your overall mission will be to develop, manage and coordinate a variety of HR and Change activities, in addition to securing a broad operational HR support via Danfoss Regional HR. You will partner with leaders, their teams, peers, and cross-functional partners to drive HR initiatives and deliver results. This position reports into the VP, Head of Total Regards and CF HRBP Function and will join a strong functional team of Center of Excellence colleagues whilst becoming a member of the functional leadership team. You will be based out of one of our sites in Denmark or northern Germany (Nordborg, Kolding, Silkeborg, Copenhagen, Flensburg or Hamburg).

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Become part of the Corporate Function Leadership Team - ensuring organizational and people development is aligned and supports business strategies and success.
  • Develop and implement organizational capability and talent management strategies.
  • In addition, provide guidance on workforce planning, learning and development, succession planning, performance management and HR practices.
  • Coach and mentor leaders to drive greater performance and employee engagement.
  • Work closely with management and the organization to improve work relationships, build right mindset, introduce new ways of working.
  • Build and maintain strong collaboration with regional/local HR colleagues to secure implementation of strategic initiatives and operational excellence.
  • Integrate and use available organizational data and human capital metrics.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Take active participation in the Corporate Functions HR Busines Partner team and take responsibility of global HR initiatives across Danfoss.
  • Background & Skills

    The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

  • 5+ years of experience as HR Business Partner/HR leader or as general leader with profound interest in HRM
  • Involvement in strategic initiatives or business activities will be of a strong advantage
  • Master level in HR, business or equivalent relevant degree
  • Leadership/manager experience would be a plus
  • Significant experience in supporting and coaching senior leaders
  • Building partner relationship in a global context
  • Strong business acumen and interest into technology/engineering
  • Solid understanding of various Human Resources functional and technical areas
  • Additionally, we are looking for:

  • Proactivity, out-of-the box thinking with the will to challenge and question the status-quo
  • Excellent understanding of organizational changes and experience in leading transformations and organizational development
  • Excellent interpersonal, coaching and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, individually, in groups and across cultures
  • Excellent facilitator both virtually and face to face
  • Trustworthy and direct in your approach
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent in English and willingness to travel when needed
