For the Industrial Water Treatment Sales organization in EMEA we are looking for a:

Key Account Manager


Home Based Location – East Denmark, Zealand region

The position will report to the Area Manager in Denmark.

Duties & Responsibilities

The job:

• Achieving the area business and growing our business base in the Zealand (Sjælland) region in line with our business strategy and commercial targets
• Managing influent water treatment, cooling tower, boiler and waste water applications in the region
• There is initially an approximate 20/80 split between new business sales and key account management (including sales and service and consultancy to existing customers)
• Responsible for all sales, account correspondence, contracts, orders received, new business implementation, troubleshooting and follow up within territory
• Working to clarify defined commercial sales targets – reviewed on a monthly basis
• The types of industries to service and to sell into are within, food and beverage, heavy and light engineering, dairy, plastics, pharmaceutical and chemicals.
• Dealing with Technical, Engineering, Buyers and Facility Managers
• Maintaining appropriate records.

The Individual

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/ Master Degree, preferably in Chemistry/Microbiology/Chemical Engineering, is required or relevant years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Sound technical knowledge of boiler and/or cooling water treatment and current relevant legislation.
  • Customer focus – Ability to fulfil customer needs and expectations. Must be professional and confident with internal and external customers.
  • Delivering Results – Deliver against strategic business KPI’s. Passionate about success and delivering operational excellence, whilst sharing best practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a true service attitude.
  • Fluent in English.
  • This is a field-based role and some travel will be required. The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license.
