Key Account Manager

At Danfoss Drives we are looking for our new Key Account Manager with experience in the marine and electrification sector.

Job Responsibilities

If you accept the challenge as our new Key Account Manager, you will become part of a strong sales team in Denmark and you will report directly to the country manager. Your main area of responsibility will be to handle some of our most important customers and to help further strengthen the position of Danfoss in the area of marine and electrification, among others Power-to-X applications.

This will happen in close relation with a team of very competent technicians both from our own sales organization and from our factories. In our organization we always help and support each other, and it is expected that our new colleague is a good team player and is passionate about creating value for our customers and making good results. In the daily work you will be working out of your home office alternatively from a Danfoss office if nearby, and you must expect quite some travelling within Denmark. Now and then trips abroad will also be required.

You constantly develop your skills and knowledge of the Drives product applications and have a passion for drives. Besides the sales activities you will be involved with organizing and presenting at seminars and webinars.

Background & Skills

To be successful, we expect you as a minimum have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or other similar education, combined with relevant working experience:

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience within technical solution sales.
  • Experience with sales of drives and drive systems into e.g. marine propulsion systems, battery charging systems, shore supply systems, DC-supply systems and the like.
  • Experience with basic design and layout of electrical drives systems and detail orientated.
  • Customer orientated mind-set and good commercial understanding.
  • Able to work independently and take responsibility for progress and customer satisfaction.
  • Enjoy working in fast and at times stressful environment and showing a high level of resilience.
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in Danish and English.
