Land Operator--Sales Manager

Nordis Travel Aps is a fast-growing Land Operator in Denmark. The company is owned by Hiseas International Travel group (DMC), which has over 400 employees spreading over a box of countries. Nordis Travel provides genuine, authentic leisure travel experiences across Scandinavia and Baltic countries for its international customers.

Nordis Travel is seeking for a dynamic, creative, energetic Sales Manager to help grow the sales.

This position is based in the office in central Copenhagen, and will be responsible for developing and operating the assigned market (s).

 

Responsibilities 

  • Bring in new business and trade the current inquiries
  • Liaise with marketing department to discuss plans for the brochures, advertising, PR, customer loyalty scheme
  • Handle groups from sales until operational stage and help with operations when needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service from the first point of contact with the client to when they return from tour
  • Work to strict deadlines regarding confirmation of bookings for hotels, land arrangements, flights and ticket allocations
  • Participate workshops, tour fairs for branding

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience within an incoming agency
  • Strong customer communication skills and sales skills
  • Ability to work independently, and under high pressure
  • High proficiency in English both orally and writing (equivalent to native speaker). Knowing another European language would be considered a strong plus
  • Flexible to work during high season
  • Expected to travel internationally for 10-20%
