Your challenges

  • Making an impact in a global purchasing organization, which plays a central role in the sustainable development of market leading products
  • Helping to develop our overall purchasing strategy, focusing especially on the execution and optimization of our purchasing and production costs
  • Collaborating with portfolio of suppliers mainly in Denmark and Europe – i.e. manufacturing units, Production Engineering, Technology and Product Development to optimize material utilization, using best available analytic tools
  • Supporting Senior Category Manager (reporting directly) – metal parts category
  • Executing RFI/RFQ processes and ensure correct purchasing master data in SAP
  • Working with purchasing KPIs to enable best in class supplier performance and team results
  • 20-30 days per year of international travelling – to visit our factories, meet with colleagues, and negotiate commercial agreements with vendors across
  • Work location: Europe – Poland (Gniezno) or Denmark (Ostbirk or Skjern); you will become part of the Global Purchasing organization of which Kolding is the primary location; we are a Global team working from various locations across Denmark and Europe so we are therefore flexible in terms of work location (you should expect to travel once per week to Gniezno if located in Poland)
  • Your qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience within purchasing, procurement, supply chain and sourcing or sales
  • Commercial or technical degree within e.g. economics, technical, supply chain management or engineering
  • Strong communication skills as well as the ability to make clear agreements
  • Ability to establish effective relations with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Highly analytical and data processing skills combined with ability to search for solutions to complex problems
  • Very good level of Excel, preference to use new exciting tools in the IT world and are looking for solutions
  • Passion about sustainable development and the ambition to grow and developing a career in a leading company
  • Effortless communication in English
