Lead Records Management Specialist

Would you like put your knowledge of records management and overall documentation management to work and support a large team of Records Managers to excel in their offshore wind farms projects?  

Join us and become Lead Records Management Specialist in our Document and Records Management department where we support offshore wind farm projects with overall records management, documentation and transfer processes. The department consists of three teams: Records Management, Technical Documentation & RDS-PP Specialists and Technical Documentation Support. We’re located where the activities take place as integrated members of projects and operational teams, focusing on professional and effective document and records management. 

Your key tasks will be to 

  • act as the subject matter expert within Records Management and provide management decision support as well as support Records Management colleagues in the team driving and implementing knowledge sharing and lessons learned for Records Management 
  • drive change management on systems and process improvement across own team, Document and Records Management and Wind Power 
  • set up and administer Records Management networks across Wind Power to coordinate processes, enable knowledge sharing, identify best practice and develop standardised approaches in collaboration with colleagues in and outside the team 
  • proactively facilitate regular internal assessments on Records Management processes for quality and compliance in projects 
  • develop reporting tools and report templates to support reporting and quality control of Document and Records Management deliverables in projects. 

 As the Lead Specialist, you’ll be a trusted advisor to both the department management and to the team members. This requires the ability to influence colleagues, manage different opinions and still find the way forward.  

Your qualifications and competences include that you 

  • can demonstrate that you, as Lead Specialist, have the intellect and ability to influence people and inspire trust at all levels and can focus on short and especially long-term implications of decisions regarding process development and changes 
  • have superior IT skills and experience with document management systems and SharePoint, and that you know how such systems are used in a technical engineering environment 
  • have knowledge of requirements for Document and Records management from benchmarking standards 
  • thrive in an international environment where fluent English is a prerequisite and you have outstanding communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effortlessly and create good relationships with your stakeholders 
  • have solid experience within the Records or Document Management field, preferably within engineering. 

 Furthermore, you have a proactive and structured approach to your work and a good sense of the balance between detail and the end goal. You know how to manage and prioritise your tasks and are able to work on several issues simultaneously.
