You will lead the Software group within project teams and work in close collaboration with the Design Team Lead. Taking lead of driving software requirements, system level architecture, documentation, estimation and planning based on Phillips-Medisize Software Design Life-cycle Processes as an important part of your job.

Professional qualifications:
Master or bachelor’s degree in software engineering with solid qualifications.
You have an excellent knowledge of real-time embedded software system architecture and de-sign learned from about 6 years of experience in embedded software development including software configuration, management tools and defect tracking tools. You have leadership ex-perience. Are you also experienced in automation and control, OS coding techniques, interfac-es, device drivers, communication over wireless and wired connections is it perfect. Experi-ence about working in a highly regulated industry (IEC 62304) is an advantage.

Personal qualifications: 
You have a systematic approach to your work, and you deliver well-structured results. You love to lead a SW team, delegate task and get the best out of the team and you understand the importance of high quality and documentation 
You are proactive, result oriented and a self-motivated team player. Furthermore, you have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

You will join our SW Building Blocks-Application Platform department that includes the Enabling Products; Apps & Tools product development area in Bjerringbro, Denmark. Facilitate development and quality assure mobile apps with a holistic overview

When we develop a new Grundfos product, we need to deliver apps to go with it. You will take ownership of these solutions and translating functional requirements into a mobile solution. The apps are designed to configure our pumps and pumping system products, controlling and balancing them.

 

Specifically, you:

  • Facilitate the overall technical architecture and requirements for the apps and deliver platform and architecture recommendations based on project requirements and industry best practice

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you have technical hands-on experience working with advanced networks and servers. More specifically, you have: 

  • A relevant technical education e.g. in an engineering field, IT/data or similar related to the position
  • Experience with Cisco network equipment. CCNA certification would be an advantage
  • Good overall knowledge in PLC, Windows Server, VMware ESXi, electrical systems and industrial communication protocols
  • Experience with maintenance of IT systems would be beneficial
  • General knowledge of maintenance or commissioning of SCADA systems would also be beneficial
