Lead Service Engineer

Where do you see yourself in the future?Does working with global wind turbine projects as our technical lead come to mind?

Come join a leading partner in electromechanical systems and contribute to a greener world.

“You will work with some of the leading wind turbine manufacturers in the world. So, if you want a great deal of responsibility and want to help us enable a wind-powered future, this is the perfect job for you,”

says your new manager Morten Tröster.

Join our Service Engineering team

At our offices in Ikast, you will join our Service Engineering (SE) team. The team consists of our project manager, manager and our lead service engineers of which 2 are based in Ikast together with you and 3 in Poland. Together, we are responsible for providing support on electrical and electromechanical systems for our customers.

More specifically, we support them in optimising services, preventing downtime and implementing newly developed products, from small electrical installations to large control panels in wind turbines.

Take the technical lead on global medium voltage projects

As our new engineer, you will be the technical lead on your own projects together with the project manager. Your projects especially evolve around medium voltage installations (MV), and you will be directly involved with the customers.

“One of the projects we are proudest of in the team was an upgrade of the control systems in 200 wind turbines in the US. We made them more efficient and completely up to date,” continues Morten.

This means that you:

  • Manage the technical aspects of your project from the very beginning until we hand over to the customer
  • Collaborate closely with your SE-team, our technical designers, machine engineers, Procurement and our production in Poland
  • Advise on everything from MV to LV and control systems, and you ensure that your stakeholders deliver as planned
  • Take part in design tasks as well as troubleshooting tasks with your SE-team
  • Write reports on e.g. optimisation projects

Grow with us

Our workplace oozes of the same type of energy we fuel – fresh, innovative and sustainable.

Likewise, the growth we experience as a company reflects our investment in employee development, and you will get plenty of opportunity to impact your future with us.

We value teamwork, and no matter what department you get in contact with, you will meet friendly colleagues who are always happy to help.

Talented engineer with project management skills

As a person, you are self-driven, able to take proactive responsibility for the technical aspects of your projects and to run them from A to Z. You have solid communications skills enabling you to interact with customers and other stakeholders.

Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Have experience with MV/HV – if you also have experience with LV and HV systems for wind turbines and/or similar experience, it is an advantage
  • Hold a BSc or a MSc within electrical or power engineering or a similar electrical background
  • Have the flexibility to travel around 20 days a year to visit customers and our production sites – mostly within Europe
  • Are fluent in English

If this position sounds appealing to you, please send your resume and cover letter in English as soon as possible. Interviews are held on an ongoing basis.

We look forward to hearing from you.
