Lead Test Technician

Test and Verification department within (COMPANY NAME) A/S is an important partner towards ensuring high quality throughout verification and validation activities of new turbine products, modules, and systems. To optimize quality of testing, we bring field conditions into our test center to expose our modules and systems throughout functional, performance and reliability testing. Our Test and Verification department always seeks after supervising the market for verification and validation activities within testing of turbine, modules, and systems. Our facility includes 10 complex test rigs with the capability to test modules or systems as part of the turbine up to 20MW. We are a team that consist of 35 engineers and test technicians that have high focus on team collaboration and development. The team is responsible to plan, complete, verify and to trouble shoot on generator, converter, and gearbox test activities. But also you will have an important role in execution of the test on one of the largest test rig in the world.

Responsibilities

You will have an important role in running and maintaining the test rig operation for test of prototype components and modules according to requirement specifications, test procedures and reporting. The responsibilities of the Test Technician include:

* Support troubleshooting as well as repairs and replacements of damaged components

* Development and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment to support test operation

* Recording in logbook of test

* Supporting execution of test according to procedures and guidelines

* LEAN / 5s

* Creation of LOTO procedures

* Contribute to risk assessment

Qualifications

* Background as an electrician, electromechanics, automation technician, mechanic, or similar

* Solid technical understanding and experience of at least 3-5 years within technical operations and troubleshooting

* Technical English at a good level

Competencies

* Knowledge about controls and operation of complex systems would be a solid asset

* General technical skills within Electrical/automation or mechanical

* Safety and Quality mindset

* Capability to run test activities and participating

* Make complex situations simple

* Efficient and Innovative

* Being open and transparent
