Job Description

What your day may look like?

• Implementing, improving and supporting manufacturing KPI Performance Boards, by among other continuous, routine process confirmation walks, while mentoring and facilitating Board Owners. 
• Teach and train LEAN principles and proper use of LEAN tools across the company, but primarily to manufacturing managers, supervisors and associates. (Implementing communication tools fostering a LEAN environment/culture.)
• Assisting e.g. managers, supervisors, Core Team members, etc., as needed, in maintaining appropriate and relevant KPIs, while ensuring that data for these are maintained in relevant and central repositories.
• Supporting Biogen Forward* and Senior Management in executing and sustaining the LEAN Improvement Plan, by among others working closely with, and assisting as needed, departments/teams to ensure a consistent and unified use of LEAN tools. 
• Identifying, in conjunction with the Biogen Forward* team, LEAN improvement opportunities, leading to improvements in time delivery metrics or reduction of costs and/or inventory. 

This is a hands-on position that requires the qualified candidate to be on the manufacturing floor most of their day. It will support all shifts (day and night) and will therefor, at times, require working outside the hours of 8:00-16:00.

* Biogen Forward – is an extremely high priority Global Optimization project and is being managed locally by the Biogen Forward Hillerod Core Team.

Qualifications

What we would like you to bring to the role?

• 2-3 years of experience in LEAN coordination and/or continuous improvement from previous roles – in particular Visual Management (KPI’s, Performance Boards, and KAIZEN Boards)
• In-depth Knowledge of LEAN principles, methods and tools – preferably Certifications in LEAN, 5S or Six Sigma methodologies, but working-experience is of much higher importance than a certification
• Strong Analytical approach towards data crunching and the ability to work with and communicate around data
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with others on completion of common goals 
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization 
• An independent and persistent self-starter with the ability to drive initiatives through to successful, timely completion

Education

You have an academic degree within Engineering, Science or similar
