Job Description

Biogen in Hillerød is looking for a Learning Associate to join the global learning team in manufacturing part of Biogen (PO&T). You will refer to the Site Lead of Technical Training and your future department are responsible for implementation of global learning strategy according to site needs and global learning standards and strategy.

As Learning Associate, you will act as the primary point of contact and be responsible for supporting and managing learning assignments for a dedicated functional area at the site while ensuring global alignment, where appropriate.

You use knowledge of systems, process and gathered data to address general questions regarding learning process and function, and you suggest and if relevant drive improvements to address any learning gaps or change.

Trainers in your area deliver both Side by Side training and Class room training. And in that sense, you will observe and coach existing trainers to continual improve their training effort and deliver training of new trainers.

Finally being part of a global learning organization, you will have colleagues based in Solothurn (CH), RTP (NC) and Cambridge (MA) and together with this team you take part in developing and implementing the global learning standards and strategy.


You have practical knowledge and application of cGMP compliance and other related regulations, and have practical knowledge and application of basic Learning Management System platform for a life sciences organization. Others can confirm that you successfully have been driving department or functional improvement projects, preferable within training, using a structured problem solving approached. 

You have excellent oral and written communication skills and public speaking skills, both English and Danish, which of you utilize in your role as trainer of trainers.

As a person, you possess the ability to work in a challenging environment with frequent interruptions, changing priorities and deadlines. You can identify and creatively resolve multi-disciplinary conflicts. You are an outgoing and inspiring person and you are good at negotiating and convincing. You take initiative and search for improvements which you also can visualize and make understandable for costumers. You carry tasks to the end and you know how to prioritize. You can take fast actions if needed without going into to detail.


You have a Bachelor or Master from a technical or HR field with min. 2 years of relevant experience preferable from a manufacturing setting. A certificate within Project Management and Train the Trainer is an advantage.
