For our Organization Services department in Leipheim, Germany, we are looking to recruit a

Team Leader (m/f/d) Business Intelligence IT

These are your tasks

  • Definition and implementation of an overall business intelligence strategy/roadmap for the Wanzl Group against the backdrop of an upcoming SAP S/4HANA implementation.
  • Functional harmonization of different key figure worlds to a single point of truth as well as conception and coordination of the technical implementation.
  • Analysis and structuring of the technical requirements for a modern reporting and analytics system.
  • Modeling of data flows and processes as well as analysis and optimization of existing business processes, including with regard to data quality as well as master data harmonization.
  • Consideration of the requirements from the digital business model of the Wanzl Group, from an internal and external perspective.
  • Initiation and monitoring of the implementation and updating of systems, tools and reports with reference to the BI strategy.
  • Establishment of a holistic performance management for enterprise-wide integrated planning.
  • Establishment and development of a BI competence center team
  • Link between the departments (Finance, Purchasing, HR, etc.), the IT department and control of external IT service providers (stakeholder management).
  • Preparation and implementation of training as well as change management processes

What you should bring with you

  • Degree in business informatics or economics.
  • At least five years of professional experience in a similar position and ideally professional experience as a consultant (m/f/d) and/or project management experience
  • Experience in the technical and disciplinary management of teams
  • Strong knowledge of data warehouse and BI tools and understanding of DWH architectures, data modeling and ETL processes.
  • Experience in autonomous planning and control of resources within the field.
  • Expertise in data analysis as well as in building addressable reporting and dashboards (visualization of financial and non-financial KPIs).
  • Know-how in key operational metrics and financial calculations as well as ideally experience in (financial) business modeling and understanding of the overall context
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Profound MS Office skills as well as excellent presentation skills
  • Above-average analytical and conceptual skills as well as a good grasp and interest in new systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills as well as team spirit
  • High level of initiative, motivating personality with meticulous approach to work and high quality standards
  • Fun and passion for transformation and change topics
  • Solution-oriented, entrepreneurial mindset as well as implementation strength
