Manager to secure High Business Impact Quality initiatives

Do you want to help to secure the continuous development of Quality in Grundfos and support the success of the world’s most sustainable pumps? In this role, you will lead a team of Quality specialist who secure our products on a global scale. You therefore step into a strategically important role where you are a cornerstone in our strategic journey ahead, adding value to our customers and end-users globally.

 

“In this role, you will a lead team of highly skilled Quality specialists in both Quality processes and Six Sigma who secure continuous improvement of Grundfos Quality globally. We would like to improve our approach towards solving projects with the highest business impact, but have not developed the model yet. Therefore, you will need to develop this concept for Six Sigma and Process Management,“ explains Group Quality Director, Jeppe Drachmann Christensen. 

 

Secure substantial pay back from the high business impact initiatives

 

Your main job will be to manage a team of 9 specialists whose goals are to manage Six Sigma and other high business impact projects globally, audit and assess processes and to ensure that our Quality System and performance are best in class. To do so, your team spends most of its time developing and maintaining processes and executing projects globally.  

 

Furthermore, your team contributes to developing global trainings in selected tools and approaches. The team will drive train-the-trainer programs to ensure that our Quality organisations and other stakeholders deploy methods the Grundfos Way. We believe in “Quality in every detail” and has always seen Quality as a cornerstone of our succes where we continuously strive for 0 defects.

 

Divide your time between team and project management

 

In the role as manager, you will work alongside your team, engaging in daily tasks at an operational level while you maintain the strategic overview. This gives you great insight into our processes, making sure that you can lead your team to the highest standards through motivation and sparring as well as direction-setting. As we interact with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation, you will also be responsible for securing alignment and defining critical priorities in your team’s project portfolio.

 

A strong leader with good technical understanding

 

Your success as a leader comes through your team. Therefore, you need the ability to deliver results through others, thus enabling your team to be productive and successful. You have a strong ability to lead by example, and you have sufficient knowledge to become a trusted sounding board for your team as well as stakeholders across the organization.

Additionally, you:

 

  • preferably have a technical background with a good understanding of both Component Production and Assembly
  • most likely have 10 years of experience leading a team and managing stakeholders
  • have experience executing strategic initiatives within a complex business environment – preferably from a large manufacturing environment.
  • might have a background as Project Manager
  • communicate effortlessly in English
