Manager Warranty & Commissioning

A global role ensuring Superior Customer Experience 
The Warranty & Commissioning department is placed in Engineering & Supply, part of the Boiler Sales Unit in the Marine Division. The Warranty & Commissioning department’s overall responsibilities covers commissioning on all markets outside of China, Korea and Japan, and warranty issues, Claims handling and error correction/quality improvement. Alfa Laval has recently established a new organization structure, and with a strong focus on a solid balance between superior customer experience and running a fair and profitable business, you will further develop and manage the department consisting of 11 employees. You will report directly to the head of Engineering & Supply and be a member of the management team.

Furthermore, your primary tasks will be:

  • Claims handling securing a good service to customers with a fast response, and a fair and qualitative evaluation of warranty claims
  • Continuous improvement utilizing claim statistics to prioritize focus areas of most value, propose plans and implementing to improve quality and reduce number of claims/claim costs
  • Coordinate and execute commissioning jobs with optimal utilization of global and local Field Service Engineers
  • Secure training and knowledge transfer from local commissioning team
  • Continuous improvement of the commissioning & warranty workflow processes
  • Ensure training of local Field Service Engineers upon new product development and market launch
  • Shared responsibility for strengthening of the co-operation across the Business Unit Boiler Systems and our Sales Companies
  • Monthly/quarterly reporting on claims and commissioning jobs
