International corporation with factory and European warehouse in Gdansk, Poland, is looking for a skilled MD/CEO for Poland Are you ready for local factory responsibility for an international manufacturing company? This position is based in Poland, where you will have the Managing Director title, while your primary responsibility is manufacturing. The company's business area is related to electronics/assembly, and has a future of rapid growth ahead. Have you proven your success within leadership, manufacturing and business development? Are you highly capable of motivating your organisation and persuing a significant growth plan? Maybe you are exactly the new MD/CEO we are looking for? The Position

You will have the overall responsibility for the factory, and this organisation as if it was your own company. You will lead the factory, the warehouse and the Polish operation. As a part of the expansion plans, you will strategically plan and develop a larger factory. The local operation is expected to grow to over 100 employees quite soon. There is already a solid team, and you will ensure that the daily business of the company is based on well-established routines, procedures and control mechanisms to secure a profitable business, and foundation for the future growth of the company. While you have the MD/CEO role in Poland, your main responsibility is the manufacturing, while commercial development and sales is placed in other parts of the international organisation.

Primary Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Overall factory responsibility
  • Hire and train factory new employees.
  • Constant development of leader group
  • Motivate and stay in contact with the organisation
  • Create and enforce quality control standard operating procedures
  • Create and Implement machine maintenance standards
  • Stay on top of production data and present to stakeholders
  • Implement improvement strategies
  • Primary point of contact for internal customers, and other representatives.

You already have experience from international manufacturing companies, and great results in general management. You are a visible leader with strong interpersonal skills and results, preferably from a global manufacturing company with diverse sales channels. You must be proactive and cooperative and have a commercial approach to problem solving combined with focus on delivering results and quality. You foster a developing environment, motivate people, and create a high-performance work ethic in the organization. You thrive by leading several projects simultaneously, acting as a coach, mentor, and leader for all team members.

  • Significant experience managing people and processes
  • Demonstrated understanding and utilization of lean tools to help facilitate continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment
Education and Languages
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in business or engineering
  • Fluent in both spoken and written Polish and English.
  • German and/or Scandinavian languages is an advantage
