Marketing Automation Specialist at global software vendor in Copenhagen

Configit is undergoing rapid and continuous growth and development as a company, and hence also in marketing. We want to increase our capabilities in Marketing Automation with a great opportunity to be part of building and developing marketing automation as a discipline in Configit.

With an increased focus on lead generation in all regions, Configit is extending its Marketing team with a new role of Marketing Automation Specialist. As a member of our Global Marketing team in Copenhagen, you will be in charge of developing and managing campaign programs.

Your work will primarily be centered around Pardot where you will be deeply involved in campaign administration and lead management from A to Z, including campaign execution; measurement tracking and reporting; workflow automation (incl. rules); securing database hygiene etc. Acting as a super user in marketing automation tools, setting up email campaigns, templates, layout, landing pages etc. will be part of your typical tasks – and of course working with the rest on Global Marketing on joint projects.

What you will do:

  • Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content
  • Setup nurture flows in engage studio including full nurture flow
  • Set up automation rules
  • Optimize segmentation, campaign execution, lead scoring, nurturing and funnel pull-through
  • Manage key conversion points in the marketing funnel, including landing pages, website calls-to-action (CTAs), and lead-generating forms
  • Setup A/B testing to measure performance and optimize conversion assets
  • Work with the marketing team to maintain database health by ensuring data cleanliness and completeness, and leveraging tools in Pardot, Salesforce and other third-party data providers
  • Maintain, enhance and optimize our lead management process in coordination with the sales and marketing team leads
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify key gaps in current processes and systems, and optimize and automate workflows for marketing and sales productivity
  • Segment lists based on behaviors shown in past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.)
  • Measure results and optimize the nurture tracks for these segments to convert prospects to MQL´s

We expect that you have:

  • A relevant BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience with marketing automation tools
  • Proven excellence in Pardot or similar marketing automation tools (e.g. Marketo, Eloqua) generating traffic, converting visitors into leads, and nurturing (using dynamic workflows) into converted customers
  • Strong analytical skills including experience with reporting and data analysis
  • A creative mindset, with the ability to use data to inform all decisions
  • Knowledge of Salesforce (or other CRM Tool) is an advantage

As a candidate, we expect that you are very experienced with marketing automation, as well as have a passion for evaluating and optimizing the overall effectiveness of digital marketing programs.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of marketing best practices in all aspects of developing and managing global marketing automation programs.
