Marketing & e-Commerce Manager - Copenhagen

As we are stepping into a new era for DAY Birger ét Mikkelsen, a lot of exciting things are happening. Following the acquisition of the brand in late 2019, CEO and owner Peter Henriksen has been working to put together the right team for the future. With the new appointment of Christina Exsteen as Creative Director, the company is now preparing for a new direction and online growth. As a part of this plan, we are seeking a Marketing & e-Commerce Manager to join the DAY Birger ét Mikkelsen and 2NDDAY team in Copenhagen

In this position, you will play a very important role in the future growth of DAY Birger ét Mikkelsen and 2NDDAY. You will be responsible for all marketing and e-Commerce activities, and you will work closely with some of the best-known creative agencies and digital marketing agencies in the business.

In this job you will refer to Peter Henriksen and have a close cooperation with Christina Exsteen and the rest of the team at DAY Birger et Mikkelsen and 2NDDAY.

About you

  • Experienced within marketing and e-Commerce management, ideally from lifestyle, design, fashion or FMCG industries.
  • Demonstrated results with digital marketing.
  • Understanding of consumer behavior and skills to develop marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Experience with ERP systems (ideally SPY System).
  • Experience with Shopify, Adobe Suite (Photoshop and InDesign), Google Analytics and Mailchimp.
  • Highly analytical, structured, and detailed orientated.
  • Great project management skills, showing initiative and prioritization of marketing activities, without losing focus on long-term marketing agendas.
  • Strong project and time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Multi-tasking skills in a busy environment.
  • Solution orientated, driven and motivated.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Skilled communicator at all levels, internally as well as externally.
  • Commercial mindset with a sense of brand identity.

Marketing skills

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies across all channels.
  • Ensure brand consistency and alignment of marketing activities across all channels.
  • Identify market opportunities and grow awareness.
  • Manage online-partner marketing plans.
  • Create and implement CRM strategies, with on-going data insight optimization.
  • Manage social media strategies, content, and implementation.
  • Work closely with external content and digital marketing partners to ensure plans are executed and targets are met.
  • Build and maintain media relationships.
  • Manage the DAY Birger ét Mikkelsen and 2NDDAY press banks.
  • Monitoring, analyzing and optimizing marketing performance.

e-Commerce responsibilities

  • Manage our DAY Birger ét Mikkelsen and 2NDDAY web-shops.
  • Conduct on-going site scanning to ensure optimal function and performance.
  • Manage all site updates and optimizations.
  • Upload and manage all product and content to sites.
  • Work closely with our in-house merchandiser on stock and replenishments.
  • Work closely with external content and digital marketing partners around new launches/collections/marketing activities.
  • Analyze performance and generate weekly reports.
