Marketing Specialist, Marketing Mix Modelling

Do you know how to turn raw data via modelling into purified insights that makes a big commercial difference? Then you might be the next Marketing Specialist we are looking for in Global Media & Agency Management in Arla Foods.

About the job
Your primary role will be to continuously  support business objectives and improve our media and commercial performance.
Your primary area of responsibilities will be: 

  • Responsible for econometric/marketing mix modelling via licensed software and other types of analyses originating therefrom
  • Help conduct, develop and drive media ROI agenda in Arla with the rest of the modelling team.
  • Build/maintain a strong stakeholder relationship (both internally in Arla and externally towards partners) to ensure results are understood and learnings are widely executed.

In short, you’ll play a key role in bringing data and insights to the forefront of everything we do in Global Media & Agency Management. More specifically, your tasks will be:

  • Conduct econometric/marketing mix modelling across markets, categories and brands and support execution of media learnings – deliver learnings on optimal budget alloca-tion across touchpoints, timing and weighting + to some extend input on creative quality (in regard to sales stimulation) 
  • Drive global marketing budget allocation project - deliver learnings on optimal total media budget allocation across markets, categories and brands
  • Drive portfolio media budget allocation projects pr. markets – deliver learnings on how to optimize budget allocation across brands in a given market
  • Supply input to specific media/budget plans and overall media/budgeting guidelines
  • Support overall ROI agenda in Arla Foods
  • Drive agenda of putting data and analyses first to gain maximal value of all media initiatives.

Who are you?
You are data-driven by heart and passionate about the opportunities made available with machine learning and automation. Furthermore, you have a relentless curiosity for using data models to under-stand consumer behaviour, trends and patterns.

In addition, you have:

•    A degree in Marketing, IT, computer science, business intelligence or similar
•    Proven experience with different data mining and statistics 
•    Experience working with datasets of different sizes and shapes
•    Highly developed analytical skills
•    Great presentation and visualization skills
•    Preferably media knowledge/experience – could be from an agency
•    Strong English skills – verbally and in writing.
